Strike 2 – Dancing Bull 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

I am not going to waste your time with a long pithy review of the second offering I have tasted from the Dancing Bull winery. Simply put, as with the previously reviewed wine, the 2006 Dancing Bull Cabernet Sauvignon disappointed on every level.

For nearly $13, one would expect a tighter, better crafted Cabernet. This wine is so fruity, as my wife says, “you could drink an entire bottle of it like cool aide and not even know it”. To be fair, the wine was not terribly bad, nor would I even categorize it as bad really. It just wasn’t good. And after tasting the similarly priced 2007 Zinfandel earlier this week from its sister winemaker Rancho Zabaco, I suppose I just expected better.

If you have $13 bucks to spend there are far more worthy wines available for you to purchase today.
